Meet Debbie Vasen, Editor for Adviceopedia, a woman inspired by the pure act of acquiring knowledge. A true Jill-of-all-trades, in addition to her freelance writing on websites and print publications, she is also a Group Editor at LoveToKnow.com where she has written well over 300 articles on a variety of subjects from Dating to Gardening. With dual degrees in both Sociology and Business Economics, she strives to keep life diverse and challenging. In her career she has done everything from Fashion Buying to Food Service, along with the challenges of weddings to parenting, and frugal living to investing. If she doesn’t know it, she is sure to research it. Trust her to guide the advice you find here to be informative, interesting, and factual.
Mary G. White
Advicopedia Expert and Editor Mary White, M.A., SPHR, has a varied background that includes professional experience in corporate training, career college administration, writing, advertising, public relations, and more. She is the co-founder of MTI Business Solutions, a full-service training and consulting firm, where her responsibilities include teaching Human Resources, Management, Leadership, Customer Service, and Communication seminars. Mary holds graduate and undegraduate degrees in Communication, and has completed extensive graduate coursework in Instructional Design and Development and Business Administration.

Advicopedia Expert and Editor Debbie LaCroix always has her fingers in everything. She graduated from Drake University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and has worked in television, radio, newspaper and advertising. JC (Jodee) Redmond is a freelance writer and award-winning Internet researcher. Rick Fulks is a freelance writer and borderline Internet addict. His thirst for knowledge began at an early age when he would entertain himself at the public library across the street from his house. He would read about anything that interested him and would sometimes even write book reports for fun. His desire to learn new things became even easier when he used his first computer to connect to Prodigy, AOL and CompuServe in the early 90's. In college, his interests were so varied that he had trouble picking a major. He ended up choosing Social Sciences so he could learn about many subjects.
Before becoming a freelance writer, Rick worked at eHarmony.com. He used that experience to become the Site Editor for the Dating channel.
Tamsen Butler
