I recently saw a movie starring Richard Thomas. I think it was on LMN. He and his wife's youndg daughter was murdered. Killer was sentenced to die. While on death row, he asked for a meeting and asked that they take his daughter, about same age, to raise. His mother was too old/sick, no on else in family to care for her. A bizzare request. But they eventually agreed. They met the girl on the day of his execution, left the prison together. She asked about their daughter, they asked her about school, etc. Seemed a bit of healing began at that moment. Strange, but good.

Anyone know the movie? I hope to watch for it so my family can see it together.
